Enlisted  Weston-Super-Mare, age 29, height 5ft 9½ inches, weight 147lbs.  Resided Bason Bridge, Highbridge, Somerset.  Formerly cowman.

Enlisted 7th December 1915; 7th December 1915 to Army Reserve; 19th September 1916, mobilized; 21st September 1916, posted 4/1 Cambridge Regiment, Service No.8176; 2nd January 1917 to 9th January 1917, 2/2 EA Field Ambulance, Doncaster, tonsillitis; 11th March 1917, transferred to 2/5 Battalion, Royal West Kent Regiment; 30th May 1917, posted 3/4 Battalion, Royal West Kent Regiment; 31st May 1917, Southampton, embarked; 1st June 1917, Havre, disembarked; 10th February 1918, posted to 7th Battalion, Royal West Kent Regiment; 10th February 1918, joined Battalion; 24th February 1918 to 9th March 1918, granted leave to UK.

25th November 1918, date when Separation Allowance of 13/- a week payable to Mrs Baker, Guardian, will cease.

10th December 1918, pension of 19/2 a week awarded to Guardian of Children, Mrs Baker (sister in law), 2 Witney Villas, Peasedown St John, near Bath, Somerset.

Commemorated at Pozieres Memorial, Panel 58 and 59., France.
