23rd February 1917, 5.36pm, telegram sent from Burwash Common , Post Office by Lady Margaret Cecil, Burwash Common to Officer in Charge, Infantry Records, Hounslow - Please telegraph me news of G-18379 Pte Frederick Brignell 7th Royal West Kents comrade reports him killed.

14th October 1917, date when Separation Allowance of 24/6 a week and Allotment of Pay of 3/6, payable to wife, a week will cease.

15th October 1917, pension of 26/3 a week awarded to widow and three children.

1923 March Quarter, Sevenoaks Registration District - Louisa Emily Brignell, of Smart's Hill, Penshurst, Tonbridge, Kent, married Edward G Jenner.

Commemorated at Thiepval Memorial, Pier & Face 11C, Somme, France.
