Enlisted  Ealing, Middlesex, age 26 years & 10 months, height 5ft 3½ inches, weight 130lbs.  Resided 32 Boston Road, Hanwell, Middlesex / 9, Cambridge Road, Hanwell, London. Formerly lather.

Home, 11th December 1915 to 2nd October 1916; BEF, 3rd October 1916 to 14th November  1916.

11th December 1915, enlisted; 12th December 1915, to Army Reserve; 13th April 1916, mobilized & posted 12th Battalion, Royal West Kent Regiment; 1st September 1916, posted 3rd Battalion, Royal West Kent Regiment; 2nd October 1916, posted BEF; 3rd October 1916, embarked / disembarked; 3rd October 1916, Infantry Base Depot; 17th October 1916, posted 6th Battalion, Royal West Kent Regiment & joined Battalion, In the Field.

4th June 1917, pension of 18/9 a week awarded to widow and one child.

Buried at Wailly Orchard Cemetery, I. B. 12., France.
