Enlisted Maidstone, Kent, age 19, height 5ft 3⅝ inches, 118lbs, two scars on forehead, tattoo inside right leg, fresh complexion, grey eyes, light brown hair. Resided Northfleet, Kent. Formerly cement labourer.

Home 25th May 1911 to 18th December 1912; India 19th December 1912 to 31st January 1915; MEF Expeditionary Force "D", 1st February 1915 to 24th July 1915.

3rd June 1919, letter from Mrs Eliza Anderson, 50 Buckingham Road, Northfleet, Kent - "Just a line in answer to the form I received this morning we have moved from 8 Tooley Street to the above address and me being the eldest sister and the only one married my other sisters and brother are living with me having no mother or father the others have been living with me for 11 years and my brother E.W. always made his home with me so we all share & share alike also my other brother that was killed in France 13th June 1915, Private J H Bramble, 8476 RWK hoping you will let me no by return of post. I have filled the forms in, in front of my 2 sisters and brother as all the other forms have been sent to me."

In pursuance of "The Regimental Debts Act, 1893," notice is hereby given that there is available for distribution amongst the Next of Kin or others entitled the sum of money set opposite to the name of each of the deceased Soldiers named in the lists which are published with this notice in the London Gazette and the "Army List," and are also to be seen at the Regimental Depots throughout the United Kingdom.

Applications from persons supposing themselves entitled as Next of Kin should be addressed by letter to "The Secretary, War Office, Park Buildings, St. James's Park, London, S.W.," and marked outside "Effects."
