Born Bermondsey, SE, son of James and Catharine Power, 86 East Lane, Bermondsey, SE 16.

Enlisted 8th September 1914, Tunbridge Wells, Kent, age 24, height 5ft 8 inches. Formerly dock labourer.

26th July 1915, posted BEF.

Commemorated at Ypres (Menin Gate) Memorial, Panel 45 and 47., Belgium.
