22nd January 1916, memo from Officer Commanding, 2/1st Kent Cyclist Battalion, Canterbury to Officer Commanding, 3/12th County of London Regiment, Favant, near Salisbury, Wilshire - "No.2186 Pte Wallace Morford of this Battalion (of good conduct) desires to have his younger Brother No.4444 Rifleman Eric Morford, 3 Platoon, "A" Company, now serving in the 3/12 County of London Regiment, transferred to this Battalion (King's Regulations 333). I understand that Rifleman E Morford agrees to this transfer. Have you any objections please? If notm will you take the necessary steps to complete the transfer."
