Born Stanstead, Kent, son of Edward & Emily Burnett, of 1, High Cross, Southfleet, Gravesend, Kent.

Served with 3rd Battalion, Royal West Kent Regiment, up to 19th April 1906, Service No.3169. Time expired.

Enlisted Maidstone, Kent, age 33, height 5 ft 6¾ inches, weight 139lbs.  Resided Black Horse, Stanstead, Nr Wrotham Kent. Formerly labourer.

16th November 1915, enlisted; 24th November 1915, posted Depot, Royal West Kent Regiment; 26th November 19115, posted 3rd Battalion, Royal West Kent Regiment; 8th March 1916, posted BEF & 1st Battalion, Royal West Kent Regiment; 9th March 1916, landed 5 Infantry Base Depot; 23rd March 1916, joined Battalion, "A" Company.
