Son of Edward William & Georgina Luff, 17 Brougham Street, Battersea.
Husband of Mrs Louise Elizabeth Luff, nee Kent). Married 25th August 1918, Battersea Park SW.
Postings - Home, 8th August 1908 to 10th December 1909; India, 11th December 1909; BEF, 2nd May 1915 to 16th August 1918; leave to UK, 17th August 1918 to 31st August 1918; BEF, 1st September 1918 to 1st October 1918; Home, 2nd October 1918 to 7th August 1920.
Formerly served in Royal West Kent Regiment, 3rd Special Reserve, 7576. Joined 6th May 1908, New Cross.
23rd October 1914, left Karachi with Rawalpindi British General Hospital, as a nursing orderly; 9th November 1914, landed at Marseille, France.; 2nd May 1915, Rawalpindi British General Hospital returned to Egypt; joined 2nd Battalion, Royal West Kent Regiment; 2nd May 1916, joined 1st Battalion, Royal West Kent Regiment.
27th September 1918, wounded.
9th December 1918, appointed Lance Corporal.
25th February 1919, transferred to Reserves; 7th August 1920, period of engagement terminated.
Conditional Disability Pension of 8/- a week from 24th February 1920 to 30th May 1920 for 20% disability (gas). Gun shot wound to thigh non attributable.
