Private Clifford William Chard MALE, 202960, 10th Battalion, Queens Own Royal West Kent Regiment, transferred to  (608127), Labour Corps, 73rd Prisoner of War Company, formerly West Somerset Yeomanry, Service No.1512. killed in action, 29th September 1918, age 19.

Son of William and Ellen Male, of Wearne, Langport, Somerset.

Buried at Zantvoorde British Cemetery, II. J. 9., Belgium. Commemorated Huish Escopi War Memorial, near Langport, Somerset.

NOTE: not included in Regimental History or Soldiers Died in the Great War; but shown on CWGC web site.
