14th July 1898, born, son of Albert Vincent and Mary Ellen Hepworth, of 46, Stanley Road, Harrow, Middlesex.  

28th August 1898, All Saints, Poplar, Tower Hamlets, baptism of Christopher Vincent Hepworth, son of Albert Vincent, (Police Constable), and Mary Ellen Hepworth, of 26 Blain Street.

1911 Census - 46, Stanley Road, Harrow, Middlesex - Albert Hepworth, head, age 39, married, Police Constable, Met Police, born Exeter, Devon; Ellen Hepworth, wife, age 32, married 13 years, 2 children, both still alive, born Regents Park, Middlesex; Chris Hepworth, son, age 12, born Poplar, E; George Hepworth, son , age 11, born Poplar, E.

Enlisted Willesden, Middlesex.  Resided South Harrow, Middlesex.

Buried at Crucifix Corner Cemetery, X. E. 1., Villers-Bretonneux, France.

NOTE: Regimental History shows initial as C; Soldiers Died in the Great War shows first name as Charles; CWGC web site shows first names as Christopher Vincent, those initials are on the headstone.
