Home 15th November 1915 to 14th April 1916; BEF 15th April 1916 to 29th April 1917.

15th November 1915, enlisted & posted Depot, Royal West Kent Regiment; 27th November 1915, posted 3rd Battalion, Royal West Kent Regiment; 15th April 1916, posted BEF & 6th Battalion, Royal West Kent Regiment; 4th August 1916, wounded gun shot wound left knee; 7th August 1916, 24 General Hospital, Etaples, gun shot wound left knee; 2nd September 1916, transferred to Convalescent Camp; 27th September 1916, 40 Infantry Base Depot, Etaples; 1st October 1916, rejoined Battalion; 12th April 1917, wounded in action, gun shot wound, ear, head, fractured jaw; 13th April 1917, 1 Canadian General Hospital; 20th April 1917, 20 General Hospital Camieres; 29th April 1917, 20 General Hospital Camieres, died of wounds.

Buried at Etaples Military Cemetery, XVIII.D.3A.,Pas de Calais, France.
