27th July 1912, Kings Langley, Hertfordshire, marriage of Charles Henry Beven, age 27 & Florence Marian Chalk, age 34, daughter of George Edwin Chalk, of 105, Brett Place, Harebreaks, Watford, Hertfordshire. 

Enlisted Bournemouth, Hampshire.  Resided Watford, Hertfordshire.

30th September 1915, posted BEF.

Buried at  White House Cemetery, leper West-Vlaanderen, Belgium, grave III R 27. Commemorated on Snodland War Memorial & at St Andrews Church, Watford, Hertfordshire.
