1911 Census - 42 Richmond Road, Grays Thurrock, Essex - Ernest John Hornsby, head, age 32, married, coal porter, worker, born Great Waltham, Essex; Ada Annas Hornsby, wife, age 32, married 11 years, 4 children, 3 still alive, born Chelmsford, Essex; Arthur William Hornsby, son, age 11, school, born East Ham, Essex; Rose Lilian Hornsby, daughter, age 8, school, born East Ham, Essex; Florence Elsie Hornsby, daughter, age 5, school, born Grays, Essex.

Enlisted Whitehall, London.

Commemorated at Vis-en-Artois Memorial, Panel 7., France.
