Home 19th February 1916 to 30th May 1917; BEF 31st May 1917 to 15th May 1918.

19th February 1916, enlisted; 20th February 1916, to Army Reserve; 16th August 1916, mobilized & posted 4/1st Battalion, Hertfordshire Regiment, Service No.9142; 14th December 1916, transferred to 2/5th Royal West Kent Regiment; 30th May 1917, posted 3/4th Battalion, Royal West Kent Regiment; 31st May 1917, Southampton, embarked; 1st June 1917, Havre, disembarked; 10th February 1918, posted 7th Battalion, Royal West Kent Regiment; 28th March 1918, posted missing.

4th August 1918, Separation Allowance of 6/2 a week payable to mother will cease.

21st January 1919, report received from Official German list, died 15th May 1918, report from Prisoners Camp, Stendal, from weakness.

2nd December 1919, Statement of Relatives - Widow, not married; Children - none; Father, John Thomas Pearn, Lansallos Polperreo, Cornwall; Mother, Amelia Hannah Pearn Lansallos Polperreo, Cornwall; Brothers - none; Sisters - Ethel Constance Pearn, age 28, Lansallos Polperreo, Cornwall.

Buried at Annois Communal Cemetery, II. A. 1., France. Memorial inside Parish Church, Lansallos, Cornwall / Polperro War Memorial.
