Born Uxbridge, Middlesex, son of William Morris of Uxbridge.

Enlisted 28th September 1908, Maidstone, Kent, age 19, height 5ft 4⅞ inches, weight 113lbs. Formerly postman.. 

22nd March 1911 to 30th March 1911, Peshawar, tonsillitis; 6th July 1911 to 10th July 1911, Cherat, tonsillitis; 6th December 1911 to 13th December 1911, Peshawar, sore throat; 18th May 1912 to 23rd May 1912, Cherat, tonsillitis; 31st January 1914 to 4th February 1914, Peshawar, tonsillitis; 27th October 1914 to  6th November 1914, Malaria, died at about 8am on 6th November 1914; 13th November 1914, Notification of death sent to Father at 16 Orchard Place, Uxbridge, Middlesex.

Commemorated at Delhi Memorial (India Gate) Face 23. India.
