Born Tottenham, Middlesex, son of Frank & Elizabeth Meacock, of 39 Allen Road, Stoke Newington, London / 42 Grove Park Road, South Tottenham / 113, Beaconsfield Road, South Tottenham, London.

Enlisted Tottenham, Middlesex, age 25 years & 2 months, height 5ft 4¼ inches, moles on abdomen.  Resided 39 Allen Road, Stoke Newington, London. Formerly oil & color man.

Home 4th January 1915 to 25th July 1915; BEF 26th July 1915 to 1st July 1916.

4th January 1915, enlisted; 6th January 1915, posted Depot, Royal West Kent Regiment; 9th January 1915, posted 7th Battalion, Royal West Kent Regiment; 8th May 1915, Colchester, overstaying his pass from midnight until 10.15pm 9th May 1915, 1 days confined to Barracks, forfeits 1 days pay; 26th July 1915, posted BEF & embarked; 13th January 1916, appointed unpaid Lance Corporal; 15th March 1916, appointed paid Lance Corporal.

Commemorated at Thiepval Memorial, Pier & Face 11C, France.
