Enlisted Bromley, Kent. Resided South Dartford, Kent.

1916 June Quarter, Dartford Registration District, married Hilda Fredrica Young, of Bexley, Kent.

Children - Arthur John Young, born 26th June 1907, died 8th December 1917;

1911 Census - 64 Hill House Road, Stone, near Darttford, Kent - Arthur Young, head, age 33, married, cowman on farm, Metropolitan Asylum Board, worker, born Downham Market, Norfolk; Hilda Young, wife, age 23, married 5 years, 2 children, 1 still alive, born Goudhurst, Kent; Arthur Young, son, age 3, born Stone, Dartford, Kent.

Children - Norma Agnes Young, born 19th August 1912, died 11th? January 1918;

8th April 1915, posted BEF.

Children - Iris Evelyn Young, born 19th June 1915.

9th December 1915, pension of 20/6 a week awarded to widow and three children.

Commemorated at Ypres (Menin Gate) Memorial, Panel 45 and 47, Ieper, West-Vlaanderen, Belgium.
