Enlisted Maidstone, Kent, age 19, height 5ft 5½ inches, weight 121½ lbs, indistinct anchor left forearm, scar above right knee.  Resided Gravesend, Kent. Formerly shoemaker.

Home 4th September 1912 to 2th October 1913; 21st October 1913 to 31st January 1915; Indian Expeditionary Force "D" 1st February 1915 to 28th July 1915.

4th September 1912, enlisted & posted Depot, Royal West Kent Regiment; 25th September 1912, posted 1st Battalion, Royal West Kent Regiment; 22nd October 1913, posted 2nd Battalion, Royal West Kent Regiment.

Buried at Basra War Cemetery, VI.N.4., Iraq.
