Private Albert Henry BUSBY, G/622, 6th Battalion, Queens Own Royal West Kent Regiment,  died of wounds, (shell wounds legs & arm),  41 Casualty Clearing Station, Flanders France, 5th May 1917, age 23.

Born Northfleet, Gravesend, Kent, son of Alice Ferris, of 2, Samaritan Grove, Northfleet, Kent. Brothers, William & George. Sisters, Grace & Hanna.

Enlisted  Gravesend, Kent, age 19 years & 147 days, height 5ft 7 inches, weight 115lbs. Formerly labourer.

29th August 1914, enlisted; 1st September 1914, posted 6th Battalion, Royal West Kent Regiment; 28th April 1915, Aldershot, overstaying his pass from Tattoo until 10.35pm on 3rd May 1915, 8 days confined to Barracks, forfeits ? days pay; 16th May 1915, Aldershot, absent from Tattoo until Reveille, 17th May, 7 days confined to Barracks, forfeits 2 days pay.

Buried at  Duisans British Cemetery, Etrun, IV.D.48., Pas de Calais, France.
