6th February 1915, posted Mesopotamian Expeditionary Force.

26th July 1916, Probate - Howell Norman Bulmer of Pound Farm, Ditton Hill, Surrey. Lieutenant Queens Own Royal West Kent Regiment, died 24th July 1915 in Mesopotamia. Administration London 26 July to Bulmer Howell, solicitor. Effects £954 6s 1d.

Buried at Basra War Cemetery, II. R. 5/6., Iraq. Commemorated at Long Ditton War Memorial.
