1886 March Quarter, born Sheppey, Kent District, son of the Rev. Ernest William & Katharine Matilda Bartlett, late Vicar of Queenborough, Sheppey,  Kent.

2nd May 1886, Queenborough, Kent, Baptism of Lionel Arthur Bartlett, son of Ernest William & Katharine Matilda Bartlett.

Husband of Mrs. Jessie  Emma Bartlett, (nee Poysden), of Brighton, Sussex. Married 1910, March Quarter, St George, Hanover Square, London.

May 1916, posted BEF.

4th September 1917, Probate - Bartlett Lionel Arthur, of 46 Fairfield Road, Bromley Kent, Lieutenant 1st Battalion, Royal West Kent Regiment, died 22nd July 1916, France on active serviced. Administration London 4th September  to Jessie Emma Bartlett, widow. Effects £150 6s 2d.

Buried  at Pozieres British Cemetery, IV. V. 13., Ovillers-la- Boiselle, Somme, France. Commemorated on Bromley War Memorial.  / Queenborough War Memorial.
