Brother to Sergeant William Walter Cable, No.11441, 5th Battalion, Princess Charlotte of Wales, Royal Berkshire Regiment, killed in action at the Battle of the Somme, 3rd July 1916, age 19.
Commemorated at Le Touret Memorial, Panel 30 & 31, Pas de Calais, France.
