Lance Corporal Percy William BROUGHTON, G/3734, 1st Battalion, Queens Own Royal West Kent Regiment, died of wounds, France and Flanders, 26th February 1918, age 24.

Born Tunbridge Wells, Kent, son of Mary and  John Broughton, of Tottenham, London.

Enlisted Tottenham, Middlesex.

26th May 1915, posted BEF.

Buried at Giavera British Cemetery, Arcade, Plot 1, Row F, Grave 8, Italy.

AWARDS: MM


London Gazette 28th January 1918.

His Majesty the KING has been graciously pleased to approve of the award of the Military Medal for bravery in the Field to the under mentioned Warrant Officers, Non-commissioned Officers and Men:

3734 L./C. P. W. Broughton,  Royal West Kent Regiment.  (Tottenham).
