Lance Corporal James William HALL, G/3291, 8th Battalion,  Queens Own Royal West Kent Regiment, died of wounds, Flanders France, 6th December 1916, age 20.

Born Stiffkey, Norwich, Norfolk, only son of Rachel and the late William Hall, of Norfolk.


1911 Census - Stables, 44 Ordnance Road, St Johns Wood, NW.- James Hounslow, head, age 35, married, sweep journeyman, worker, born Camden Town, London; Kathleen Hounslow, wife, age 33, married 11 years, 1 child, still living, born Stiffkey, Norfolk; Ruby Hall, daughter, age 10, school, born Hendon, Middlesex; James Hall, brother in law, age 15, single, errand boy, grocers, worker, born Stiffkey, Norfolk.


Enlisted Kilburn, London, NW.  Resided St Johns Wood, NW. 

30th August 1915, posted BEF.

Buried at Barlin Communal Cemetery Extension, I. E. 50., France.
