Lance Corporal John Nelson SLATER, G/31872, 6th Battalion Royal West Kent Regiment, (formerly Durham Light Infantry, Service No.91807), died of wounds, Flanders France, 23rd September 1918.

Born Settle, Yorkshire, son of Stephen & Annie Slater.

Enlisted Hammersmith, Middlesex.  Resided Willesden Green, NW.

Commemorated at Terlincthun British Cemetery, IV. B. 15., Wimille, France.
