Born Slamannan, Stirling, Scotland, son of Grace McCallum, Bonnybridge, Falkirk, Scotland.

Enlisted Denny, Scotland. 

26th July 1915, posted BEF.

Commemorated at Pozieres Memorial, Panel 58 and 59, France.
