Corporal Alfred HONEYSETT, G/4876, 6th Battalion,  Queens Own Royal West Kent Regiment, died of wounds, 10 Stationary Hospital, France, 14th March 1916, age 23.

7th December 1914, enlisted & posted Depot, Royal West Kent Regiment; 15th December 1914, posted 3rd Battalion, Royal West Kent Regiment; 14th January 1915, appointed unpaid Lance Corporal; 18th March 1915, appointed paid Lance Corporal; 22nd November 1915, promoted Corporal; 8th December 1915, posted BEF, 6th Battalion, Royal West Kent Regiment & embarked; 18th December 1915, joined Battalion, In the Field; 9th March 1916, 33 Casualty Clearing Station, wounded head & back.

25th July 1919, Statement of Relatives - Father, James Honeysett, age 63, Cryalls Farm, Borden; Mother, Jane Honeysett, age 61, Cryalls Farm, Borden, near Sittingbourne; Brothers - George William Honeysett, age 40, Hamilton Hill P.O. Buried at Longuenesse (St Omer) Souvenir Cemetery, II. B. 38., France. Commemorated on  Borden War Memorial.

Brother Cpl S Honeysett, also fell.
