Second Lieutenant Frederick George YEO, 8th  Battalion, Queens Own Royal West Kent Regiment, (formerly Private Honourable Artillery Company, Service No.4261), killed in action, 26th October 1916, age 23.

10th April 1893, born Bermondsey, London, son of Frederic and Mary Catherine Yeo, of 5, Como Road, Forest Hill, London. SE23.

5th September 1908 to 7th April 1911, Battersea Polytechnic Secondary, father Railway Clerk, 5, Como Road, Forest Hill, London. SE23. Previous School, Goodrich Road, LCC Elementary School, January 1911 Pupil Teachership withdrawn owing to unsatisfactory Elementary School Report, remaining in the school as a fee paying student, .occupation after leaving, clerk.

8th January 1916, posted BEF.

Buried at Maroc British Cemetery, I. L. 1., Grenay, France.

NOTE: Officers Died in the Great War gives date of death as 26th October 1916; CWGC web site shows 27th October 1916.
