1st November 1914, posted BEF; 1st November 1914, Southampton, embarked; 2nd November 1914, Havre, disembarked.

Buried at Maroc British Cemetery, III. C. 23., Grenay, France. Commemorated on Memorial Outside No. 109, St Peters Church (demolished), Courtlands Avenue, Eltham, Greenwich, Greater London.
