25th January 1915, East Preston Registry Office, Sussex, married Annie Louisa Perry, 57a Ormsley Road, Balham, SW.

Enlisted  Wimbledon, SW, age 28 years & 3 months, height 5ft 8¼ inches, weight 142lbs, scar on side of right wrist, dark complexion, grey eyes, dark brown hair.  Resided Balham, SW.  Formerly bootmaker.

Home, 2nd September 1914 to 29th August 1915; BEF, 30th August 1915 to 26th SEptember 1915.

2nd September 1914, enlisted & posted Depot, Royal West Kent Regiment; 12th September 1914, posted 8th Battalion, Royal West Kent Regiment;  8th October 1914, appointed Lance Corporal; 21st December 1914, promoted Corporal; 1st April 1915,  promoted Sergeant; 26th September 1915, posted wounded & missing.

10th July 1916 pension of 11/- a week awarded to widow.

1919, December Quarter, Wandsworth Registration District, Annie Louisa Clark married  William Ling.

Commemorated at Loos Memorial, Panel 95 to 97, Pas de Calais, France.
