Son of William Henry Nash, 30 Gablion ? Road, Earlsfield?, Wandsworth, London.

4th September 1914, enlisted; 9th September 1914, posted 7th Battalion, Royal West Kent Regiment.

4th November 1914, Military Hospital, Purfleet - Application for Discharge of a Recruit as not likely to become an efficient soldier - this man has a bunion on each foot. He is quite unable to march or perform physical training. He is continually falling out. He will never become efficient.

12th November 1914, discharged  as "no longer physically fit for War Service" due to sickness Silver War Badge issued.
