30th September 1912, enlisted; 2nd October 1912, posted Depot, Royal West Kent Regiment; 4th January 1913, Maidstone, drunk & causing a disturbance in barracks about 7.10pm, 7 days confined to Barracks; 23rd March 1913to 29th March 1913, King George Hospital, Dublin,  Influenza; 21st May 1913, Dublin, irregular conduct when employed at potato peeling, 7 days confined to Barracks; 5th August 1913, improperly dressed when parading for ??? piquet, 7 days confined to Barracks; 6th September 1913, Dublin, gambling in a Barrack room about 9.15pm, 7 days confined to Barracks; 8th September 1913, Dublin, beimg in the canteen about 1.20pm when a defaulter, 5 days confined to Barracks; 23rd March 1914, Dublin, not getting equipment numbered when ordered to do so, 3 days confined to Barracks.
