Enlisted  Bromley, Kent age 19, height 5ft 7 inches, weight 128lbs, several pock marks on face. Resided 10 Thayers Farm Road, Beckenham, Kent. Formerly gardener.

12th January 1915, enlisted & posted Depot, Royal West Kent Regiment; 20th January 1915, posted 8th Battalion, Royal West Kent Regiment; 28th March 1915, Worthing, overstaying his pass until 12 midnight 29th, 3 days confined to Barracks, forfeits 1 days pay; 9th June 1915, Shoreham, insolent conduct whilst on Parade, 7 days confined to Barracks; 27th June 1915, Blackdown, absent from 9.30pm until 9.30pm 29th, deprived of 3 days pay, 12 days confined to barracks, forfeits 3 days pay; 20th July 1915, Blackdown, irregular conduct on Parade, 7 days confined to Barracks; 1st August 1915, Blackdown, overstaying his pass from 4pm to 10pm 3rd inst, deprived of 3 days pay, 9 days confined to Barracks, forfeits 3 days pay; 26th September 1915, wounded / missing; 5th December 1916, death presumed on or after 26th September 1915.
