3rd September 1915, enlisted & posted Depot,  Royal West Kent Regiment; 8th September 1915, posted 9th Battalion, Royal West Kent Regiment; 5th October 1915, Shoreham, absent from recruits Parade at 9.00am, 3 days confined to Barracks; 22nd February 1916, Aldershot, making an improper remark to CSM Simmonds, 2 days confined to Barracks; 19th March 1916, posted 10th Battalion, Royal West Kent Regiment; 22nd April 1916, Aldershot, refusing to obey an order, refusing to go on Parade, 14 days confined to Barracks; 2nd May 1916, Aldershot, selling his overseas kit, awarded 14 days Field Punishment No.2.; 3rd May 1916, posted BEF; 3rd May 1916, Southampton, embarked; 4th May 1916 Havre, disembarked;

10th March 1921, War Office memo - retain medals pending application when reference should be made to War Office (SG10). No next of kin traced.

Commemorated at  Thiepval Memorial, Pier & Face 11C, Somme, France.

SOLDIERS' BALANCES UNDISPOSED OF.

In pursuance of "The Regimental Debts Act, 1893," notice is hereby given that there is available for distribution amongst the Next of Kin or others entitled the sum of money set opposite to the name of each of the deceased Soldiers named in the lists which are published with this notice in the London Gazette and the "Army List," and are also to be seen at the Regimental Depots throughout the United Kingdom.

Applications from persons supposing themselves entitled as Next of Kin should be addressed by letter to "The Secretary, War Office, Imperial Institute, South Kensington, London, S. W. 7," and marked outside "Effects."
