Private William BAIRD, G/31171, 1st  Battalion, Queens Own Royal West Kent Regiment, killed in action,  France and Flanders, 28th June 1918, age 18.

Born Hellesborough, Scotland, son of Helen McGookin (formerly Baird), of "Westpark," Larbert, Stirlingshire, and the late John Baird.

Enlisted Leyton, Essex, resided Leyton, E10.

Commemorated at Ploegsteert Memorial, Panel 8, Comines-Warneton, Hainaut, Belgium.
