16th June 1919, enlisted & posted Depot, Royal West Kent Regiment; 20th June 1919, posted 3rd Battalion, Royal West Kent Regiment; 23rd July 1919 to 19th September 1919, Military Hospital, Cannock Chase, Rugeley Camp, old fracture, right ulna, contraction little finger, right hand, rifle held with difficulty, admitted for massage.

17th September 1919, Military Hospital, Cannock Chase, Rugeley Camp - Medical Board - disability fractured right ulna, accidental (fell over a barrow in London), 1917, before joining the Army, contraction little finger, right hand, rifle held with difficulty, disablement 30%, no treatment required.

20th September 1919, discharged  as "no longer physically fit for War Service" due to sickness. Silver War Badge issued.

Award, final weekly allowance, 5/6 a week for 13 weeks. Accidental injury. D.M.S. 20%.
