18th November 1915, enlisted & posted Depot, Royal West Kent Regiment; 23rd November 1915, posted 3rd Battalion, Royal West Kent Regiment; 15th December to 17th December 1915, Drill Hall Hospital, Chatham, asthma & bronchitis; 19th to 20th February 1916, Fort Pitt Military Hospital, acute bronchitis, unconscious from asphyxia due to accumulated ***** in the lungs, oxygen given to no avail.
