15th February 1915, enlisted, posted Depot, Royal West Kent Regiment; 21st February 1915, posted 3rd Battalion, Royal West Kent Regiment.
17th March 1915, Application for Discharge of a Recruit, as not likely to become an efficient Soldier - degeneration of spinal con???; marked ataxia; quite unable to turn round or run. Not the result of military service.
17th March 1915, discharged as "no longer physically fit for War Service" due to sickness Silver War Badge issued.
