Private Leon Elliott LINGE, G/2225, "D" Company, 7th   Battalion,  Queens Own Royal West Kent Regiment, died of gun shot wounds to the head, 70th Field Ambulance, Flanders, France, 8th July 1917.

Born Forest Hill, SE, son of  Leon & Caroline Linge, of 13, Ackroyd Road, Honor Oak Park, London, SE23.

Enlisted 9th September 1914, Tonbridge, Kent, age 19, height 5ft 5 inches, weight 9 stone 2lbs.  Resided London, SE. Formerly Stock Exchange Clerk.

 Home, 9th September 1914 to 25th July 1915; BEF, 26th July 1915 to 8th July 1917.

Buried at Dickebusch New Military Cemetery Extension, II. C. 20., Belgium.
