Enlisted Sevenoaks, Kent, age 35 years & 7 months, height 5ft 3¾ inches. Resided Otford, Kent.

Home 28th February 1916 to 20th July 1916; BEF 21st July 1916 to 12th October 1917.

28th February 1916, enlisted & posted Depot, Royal West Kent Regiment; 8th March 1916, posted 3rd Battalion, Royal West Kent Regiment;

19th May 1916, order for stoppage of pay at the rate of six pence a day, to support wife & two children, against a Magistrates Order dated 21st April 1910 of 11/- a week. When all the arrears which have accrued under the Magistrates Order have been paid off , the stoppage of pay if in excess of the amount ordered to be paid by the Magistrates, will be reduced to the amount of their order;

21st July 1916, posted BEF/ embarked / Infantry Base Depot / posted 7th Battalion, Royal West Kent Regiment; 12th August 1916, joined Battalion In the Field; 3rd September 1916, Boulogne, 3rd Canadian General Hospital, orchitis; 9th November 1916, proceeded to join 7th Battalion, Royal West Kent Regiment.

13th May 1918, pension of 25/5 a week awarded to widow & two children.

26th September 1921, British War & Victory Medal forwarded by Registered Post to * Mr Harry Lampkin, Rhode House, London, Road, Sittingbourne, Kent. * Father in Law.

Buried at Cement House Cemetery, VI. D. 24., Belgium.
