8th September 1914, enlisted & posted Depot, Royal West Kent Regiment; 12th September 1914, posted 8th Battalion, Royal West Kent Regiment; 4th April 1915, Redhill, quitting his billet without permission and remaining absent from Tattoo till Tattoo 5th inst., deprived of 10 days pay, forfeits 2 days pay; 16th April 1915, Redhill, irregular conduct on parade, 3 days confined to Barracks; 30th August 1915, embarked; 26th September 1915, posted missing.
