Born Manchester, Lancashire, son of John Walter and Susannah Critchley.

Husband of Martha Ann Critchley, of 47, Bradshaw Street, Hulme, Manchester, Lancashire.

Lancashire; Martha Ann Critchley, wife, age 25, married 6 years, 4 children, 3 still alive, born Hulme, Manchester; John Walter Critchley, son, age 7, born Manchester; Laura Critchley, daughter, age 4, born Hulme, Manchester; Martha May Critchley, daughter, age 1-8 months, born Withington.


Enlisted Seaford, Sussex.  Resided Hulme, Lancashire.

Buried at Epehy Wood Farm Cemetery, VI. B. 12., Epehy, Somme, France.
