Born Sevenoaks, Kent, enlisted 18th November 1915, Sevenoaks, Kent, age 19, height 5ft 6 inches, weight 141lbs, resided 3 Hortus Place, St Johns, Sevenoaks, Kent. Formerly bootmaker.

Son of George & Alice M Nash, December 1918, 3 Colesglove Cottages, Goffs Lane, Cheshunt, Hertfordshire; November 1919, 4 Hortus Place, St Johns, Sevenoaks, Kent; February 1920, 3 Coles Grove Cottages, Goffs Lane, Cheshunt, Hertfordshire; November 1920, 14 Bradbourne Road, Sevenoaks, Kent.

Postings - Home, 18th November 1915 to 22nd July 1916; BEF, 23rd July 1916 to 10th April 1917; Home, 11th April 1917 to 5th November 1917; BEF, 6th November 1917 to 30th November 1917.

23rd June 1916, appointed unpaid Lance Corporal; 28th November 1916, reverts to Private at own request.

9th April 1917, wounded.

24th July 1917, Shoreham, improper conduct on parade, talking, 2 days confined to Barracks; 23rd September 1917, Shoreham, disobedience, 7 days confined to Barracks.

Commemorated at Cambrai Memorial, Panel 8, Louverval, France.
