Born Lambeth, SE. son of Henry Beckett & Mary Jane Shorter.

8th June 1890, All Saints Lambeth, Surrey, baptism of Henry James Beckett Shorter, son of Henry Beckett & Mary Jane Shorter.

1915, December Quarter, Camberwell Registration District, Henry J B Shorter married Ethel May Morby.

Children - Ronald James Beckett Shorter, born 8th March 1916.

Enlisted London.

1926, Camberwell Registration District, Ethel May Shorter, married ???? Hooker.

Buried at Perth Cemetery (China Wall), I. L. 20., Belgium.
