Home, 19th June 1906 to 30th October 1917; Singapore, 31st October 1907 to 27th December 1908; India, 28th December 1908 to 31st January 1915; Indian Expeditionary Force "D", 1st February 1915 to 31st December 1918; Home 1st January 1919 to 8th April 1919.

19th June 1906, enlisted & posted Depot, Royal West Kent Regiment; 26th September 1906, posted Provisional Battalion, Royal West Kent Regiment; 28th December 1906, posted 1st Battalion, Royal West Kent Regiment; 31st October 1907, posted 2nd Battalion, Royal West Kent Regiment; 4th January 1909, appointed Lance Corporal; 11th October 1909, reverted to Private at own request; 29th April 1916, Prisoner of War, Turkey, captured at Kut; 1st January 1919, repatriated at Southampton; 1st January 1919, posted Depot, Royal West Kent Regiment.

8th April 1919, discharged as "no longer physically fit for War Service" due to sickness. Silver War Badge issued
