Home, 9th December 1915 to 18th May 1916; BEF, 19th May 1916 to 27th August 1916; Home, 28th August 1916 to 24th April 1919; Class "P" Army Reserve, 25th April 1917 to 25th September 1917.

9th December 1915, enlisted; 10th December 1915, transferred to Army Reserve; 24th January 1916, from Army Reserve & posted Depot, Royal West Kent Regiment, posted 9th Battalion, Royal West Kent Regiment.; 18th May 1916, posted 8th? Battalion, Royal West Kent Regiment & BEF; 24th August 1916, wounded, gun shot wounds, arm, chest & hands; 28th August 1916, posted Depot, Royal West Kent Regiment; 28th August 1916 to 24th February 1917, 1st Southern General Hospital, Edgbaston, Birmingham, gun shot wound left arm and chest; 24th April 1917, transferred to Class "P" Army Reserve;  25th September 1917, final discharge.

24th April 1917, discharged  as "no longer physically fit for War Service" due to wounds.  Silver War Badge issued.

Pension, 13/9 a week for 26 weeks, conditional.
