12th June 1917, Probate - Barton George Herbert of Sutton at Hone, Dartford, Kent Private Royal West Kent Regiment, died 22nd November 1916 at the General Hospital at Etretat ob Active Service. Administration (with will) London 12th June to Florence Jeanie Barton, spinster. Effects £177 16s 3d. Former Grant December 1916, revoked.

Buried at  Etretat Churchyard, II.A.14., Seine-Maritime, France. Commemorated  Sutton-at-Hone War Memorial.
