Son of Frederick Augustus Fentiman, 74 Milburn Road, Gillingham, Kent.
Home, 1st September 1914 to 25th July 1915; BEF, 26th July 1915 to 7th April 1916; Home, 8th April 1916 to 8th June 1916.
1st September 1914, enlisted & posted Depot, Royal West Kent Regiment; 9th September 1914, posted 7th Battalion, Royal West Kent Regiment; 8th April 1916, posted Depot, Royal West Kent Regiment.
8th June 1916, discharged as "no longer physically fit for War Service" due to sickness. Silver War Badge issued
Pension, 25/- a week for 3 months, then 12/6 a week for 3 months conditional.
