Enlisted 10th November 1915, Maidstone, Kent,  age 36, height 5ft 6 inches, resided Sutton Road, Otham, Nr Maidstone Kent / Peirce Cottage, Charing nr Ashford, Kent. Formerly gamekeeper.

Husband of Lilian Alice Bushnell (nee Burr, widow), Sutton Road, Otham, Nr Maidstone Kent. Married 10th January 1914, Otham,  Nr Maidstone Kent.

Child - Alice Lilian Burr, born 24th August 1909, Otham, Nr Maidstone Kent.

Home, 10th November 1915 to 2nd May 1916; BEF, 3rd May 1916 to 3rd November 1917; Home, 4th November 1917 to 12th June 1918.

10th November 1915, enlisted and posted 10th Battalion, Royal West Kent Regiment; 3rd May 1916, embarked; 9th April 1918, posted 3rd Battalion, Royal West Kent Regiment.

12th June 1918, discharged  as "no longer physically fit for War Service" due to wounds. Silver War Badge issued

Pension of 27/6 for 4 weeks, then 5/6 for 48 weeks, conditional.
