11th December 1915, enlisted; 12th December 1915, to Army Reserve; 31st May 1916, mobilized; 1st June 1916, posted 22nd Battalion, Royal Fusiliers, Service No.2927; 1st September 1916, transferred t& posted to 103rd Training Reserve Battalion; 3rd October 1916, posted BEF & transferred to Royal West Kent Regiment; 6th October 1916, embarked; 18th October 1916, posted 6th Battalion, Royal West Kent Regiment & joined Battalion In the Field; 3rd May 1917, reported missing.

7th January 1918, pension of 22/11 a week awarded to widow & two children.
